In a major step towards enhancing digital access for students, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched the Punjab CM Laptop Scheme 2025. This initiative aims to provide free 13th-generation Core i7 laptops to deserving students across the province, ensuring they have the technological tools necessary for their academic success.

Who Will Receive Laptops?

The scheme primarily targets high-achieving students and those belonging to underprivileged groups. This includes:

• 2,000 laptops reserved for minority students.
• Students excelling in Secondary and Higher Secondary School Examinations.
• 32% of the laptops allocated to students from South Punjab.

Eligible students pursuing degrees in computer science, medicine, engineering, business, social sciences, languages, veterinary medicine, and agriculture will benefit from the program.

How to Register for the Punjab Laptop Scheme?

Students who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online at cmlaptophed.punjab.gov.pk. The registration process involves submitting the required details and academic records through the official website.

Eligibility Criteria for the Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025

To ensure fair distribution, the government has set the following merit-based criteria:

• BS students must have a minimum of 65% marks in their intermediate exams.
• Medical students must have secured at least 80% marks in their intermediate exams.
• Only first and second-semester students will receive laptops in the initial phase.

Last Date to Apply for the Free Laptop Scheme 2025

So far, 187,135 students have registered for the scheme, and 55,820 have submitted applications. Interested students must apply before the March 16, 2025 deadline to be considered for the scheme.

Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025 Merit List Update

As the registration deadline approaches, students are eagerly awaiting the merit list. The final merit list will be available on the official CM Punjab Laptop Scheme portal. Applicants can log into their accounts to check their application status and merit list position.
